I'm not too sure what to say about this. I drew it for a friend of mine, Elsie. She wanted me to do another computer drawing, becuase I haven't for awhile, so this is what I came up with.
I tried a new technique before, on the surface of the castle. I used a 1 pixel brush and just started clicking, comming up with patterns and lines and such.
Very nice. I like the light textures for the clouds on the planet. The aura radiating about it is nice too.
The huge castle floating on the rock is great. Looks very pseudo-mechanical. Nice little light glowing at the top of each tower. The door seems oddly out of place for some reason though.
Nice how even the starts can be seen dimly refleted in the mostly still water.
Woooow! David, this is amazing. The reflections are awesome, and they look real. And I love the castle and the island it's floating on... Just wow. It looks very realistic. How big was the brush you were using?

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
